HITEz = Hours In Total Enclosure. (E.g. written as "24z".)

24z x 30days = 720z. This is the monthly Quota  of 720z:  to be ~100% covered in latex ~100% of the time. (I.e. 24hrs day/30days month)

It got to a point where I started thinking about my activites in terms of how many HITEz they would earn (or deduct) for my Quota.

It's all based on months ranging from 00:01 of the first day to midnight of the last day. Quota's MUST be the 30th of each month. In 31-day months such as January, the last day is ignored. It is a "free" day. 

Note the shorter months such as February are a bit complicated.  As the Quota is due on or Februrary 28th, one must earn about 26z per day to compensate for this shortfall. 

Everything is about the Quota. My life becomes a sort of 'sporting event' in which I constantly strive to 'win' as many HITEz
